Apple Days In Excelsior

Labor Day is over and us Minnesotans are now moving into our next season, fall!

It may be football season, but there is still plenty of stuff to do with friends and family before the first snow fall. Put on your sweatshirt and jeans and go to Apple Days in Excelsior.

Excelsior Apple Days is September 15th - 17th. This lakeside festival gathers its community and celebrates its local food, art, and, of course, street dance.

The entire weekend is packed with activities starting at 5 pm September 15th. You can expect craft booths, food vendors, a history tour, Apple Pie contests, kid activities, and live entertainment.

Kickoff starts at 5 pm the 15th supported by the Excelsior Fire District raising the flag. Live music begins after starting with the Mike Miller Band and ending with Pandoras Other Box.

Then, on Saturday, vendors show up at 10 am and a full day is ahead for visitors! Adults Apple Pie eating contest starts at 12:15 pm and kids start at 12:30 pm. So if you love Apple Pie, and did not sign up in time, be sure to join the crowds. Cheer on people, laugh, and enjoy the show. 

Don't love apples? Don't worry there are plenty of food vendors, such as Firehouse Foods, Pizza Karma, Nothing Bundt Cakes and more!

At 7 pm, the Apple Pie Street Dance starts and ends at 10 pm. Find a partner and dance the night away.

Sunday fun day! Starting at 10 am on Sunday, Lakes Area Kids Corner and story time at Excelsior Bay Books open. You will also find a MN Champions Basketball and Gymnastics course. Lastly, camp fire kids activities begin, too. A perfect day for you and your family to enjoy time together outside.

Events and activities end at 4 pm on Sunday.
